I emailed Salsa asking if they are releasing a new version of the anything cage. Got an email back straight away and there is one due in June 2013. Interested in the king cage version will have to look into them.

Like i said. If you do have bad luck like me carry a few zipties and reverse the brackets they were solid after that

I splashed out on a set of Salsa Anything cages and the porcelain rocket bags for a trip down the Munda Biddi trail in western Australia. The only problem i had is that the cages completely shat themselves on rough ground and i ended up having to reverse the broken brackets add some zip ties and clamp them straight into my forks. Which resulted in half the paint on my freshly painted troll being riped off ( sorry for being such a girl but hey i paid good money for the job). Is there any alternative to Salsas cages or do i buy a new pair and get someone to finish the job beefing them up with a welder?
