Please count me in... I too have two goals have fun and finish!  It would be an honor to ride with you guys. I might already have some occomidation in Banff just have to check with my friend. I will be flying into Edmonton on or around the 1st and spend a few days with friends. I already have a ride to Banff and will be checking out Jasper on the way there. I plan on spending a few days in Banff then setting off.. Thanks for your fast reply.. I am totally open to leaving on the 7th if need be. I would love to try for 100 miles per day but I think the reality of riding for so many days will take a toll on your body.. But who knows? Maybe.. Feel free to email me on my person email too. I am 44 years old and it has been my dream for the past 2 years + to ride the divide. Ever since I first watched the movie I have wanted to do it. So almost two years ago I bought all my gear, bags, everything i would need.. I have been training for the past 2 years and will continuue to train up until the day I fly to Banff.. I live on Maui and am orginally from Colorado. I would love to meet some others that are looking for another rider to join them. I had a few that were going to ride with me but it looks as if just recently they have had a change of heart. I have not.. I am driven to do this and can't wait. I am not looking to do this ride as a race but more just to complete it. I am thinking that I would like to do somewhere between 50 to 70 miles per day.. Maybe even taking a day off?? I am totally flexable.. We can camp or if the housing is avalible we can do that too.. I am very flexable.  I would like to arrive in Banff around July 1 and set off on the trail around July 3 or 4th.  Just want to get adjusted to the elevation, check on equipment and enjoy Banff for a couple of days.. I have never been and hear its beautiful.

I for one would not be able to ride in a carpool with you but I am looking to join a group of riders that is going the same time as me. I would perfer to ride with a group than alone.
