i noticed steve halligans spot has not updated in over 3hrs. hope he is still moving and ok.

He is scratching, fetching his car at PCL and then fetching Kaitlyn from Freeman Rd where she is also scratching.

She had such a great pace going, but was experiencing breathing issues, not unlike a recent ITT attempt on this route. Bummed for her...

i have been wanting to do this route,i have rode the section from flag to sedona as a group ride with craig,leonora and other lhc friends.anderson mesa is rough as you stated. we plan on a north rim trip later this month. i guess sept-oct. might be the best time for the complete route. thanks for the write-up.

what chain lube is everyone using for the azt. the moonduust powder around lhc sucks the lube right out of the chain

where can i find a entry list for this years divide

I have a 40 degree down bag and a silk bag liner.  good to 35 degrees or so.  And a sub 3 lb 1 man tent. Both pack small. With a Big Agnes inflatable air mattress I am under 5 lbs. And very comfortable. That is important if you are out for more than a few days, or getting older, or both.   I have a good quality 1 man tent for sale  cheap if you are interested.
