Hi,

My wife and I are planning to ride from western Colorado to Moab, UT on dirt roads. To take camping gear like a tent and sleeping bags and essential stuff like lots of water, would a trailer be the way to go? It will take a couple days to ride each way and we will likely grab a cheap motel in Moab for a night before heading back.

I have read just about everything on the net on opinions about this, but I want to see if there is any new ideas out there. I am riding a full suspension mountain bike and will tow the trailer if that is the way we go. My wife has a hardtail.
