Anyone seen/tested this product in a realistic setting? They have small sleeves for strapping to your person/bike and also saddle bags made essentially of ripstop and elastic. I think they look pretty cool and effective for saving space and weight, just wanted to get some opinions from those with experience if possible.

I started my first trip on the trail from the Waterton(Littleton) side and it was gorgeous. This end has the best lead in, being a dirt road to start, but then a serious climb to get up into the valley. Definitely loved that first segment.

I just got down from the first segment and everything looks amazing up there. Bear Creek is little more than a trickle though, so you'll have to make it beyond the initial 10 miles in order to hit a water source if coming from Waterton

Spent my first night out after climbing the initial section of the Colorado Trail. Pretty intense for the first time out, mainly because I honestly don't have a very good bikepacking setup just yet and had to lug a good 40-50lbs via panniers on my back end...lame.

In trying to shed that weight, what are some key things to consider when making a bikepacking rig?
