It took some convincing, but I am putting my Surly ECR up for sale. I love this bike, but am lusting over something else, and SWMNBN insists that it will be a replacement. This bike was custom built from a frame set by a professional mechanic at a bike shop. It's a 20" frame (Large). It's built up with a Rohloff internally geared hub in the rear, and a SRAM dynamo hub in the front (which powers the headlight, taillight, and USB charger). See pictures for details. The Rohloff was purchased brand new for the wheel build. Take a look at the tires - only set that have been mounted, and the nipples are still there! This is a $5000 build, and if you are seriously considering this bike, I'm asking $3600 OBO. It comes just as pictured; racks, lights, and all (including the custom frame bag pictured separately, but minus the growler cage on the right fork leg - it was a gift and I'd like to keep it). It's located in Boulder, CO. I'm currently selling local only, as this would be a beast to ship. Build specs below. Cheers!

I'm selling a Surly ECR - size XS. I built this bike for my wife, however our plans have changed and we are no longer needing the bike. It is a custom build. The front wheel is built around a SRAM i-Light dynamo hub and the rear wheel has a NuVinci N360 internally geared hub for reliability and maintenance free shifting. The cranks are a Surly OD with 26/39 chainrings. This extends the gear range of the rear hub nicely. Brakes are Avid BB7. There is also a custom frame bag that comes with the bike. The bike has less than 10 miles on it, so it is essentially brand new. Located in Hancock, MI. Asking $1800 shipped.

Long story short, I sold the Fatback a month ago and ordered an ECR from Cycle Monkey. Gonna run it with a Gates belt + Rohloff.

Please post pictures when you get this! Smiley I have an ECR and am considering this route.
