Are all aerobars compatible with carbon bars?

No unless you get the stem plate version from JTEK, but then you may run into running too stretched out.  http://jtekengineering.com/jtek_Axe_aerobar.htm

So let me rephrase as I don't think my question was very clear. I'm trying to install a Profile Design T1+ Aerobar (aluminum) on a carbon bar. I was wondering if that puts the carbon bar at risk of breaking.

Thanks, and sorry for not being very clear.

not recommended unless you can find some carbon bars that specifically state it  allows for clamping aerobars.  carbon road bars will state whether it is reinforced to allow clamping, but i have never seen this for carbon mtb bars.

if this is for the TD, get an aluminum bar.
