Salsa Fargo - in between Small and Medium, help me pick

HI, I'm just under 5' 8" and have narrowed my bike search to a Salsa Fargo, which means I'm between small and medium. Wondering if anyone can speak to their experience with this bike dilemna? I will be using it for touring/bikepacking and likely with a flat bar, have an inseam of about 32", enjoy an upright/comfortable riding position, and am a smaller-framed woman.

I am based rurally and need to have a bike shipped, so can't go ride them.
