Would like to see what others are using in their Anything cage. I have the Salsa Anything bag. Nice, durable and held up very well for the GDMBR, but I wish it was just a wee bit bigger in diameter.

I didn't much like the plasticky look of the Salsa bags, and yes, they were a bit too small

I had a very specific requirement - the bag had to be able to accommodate my cooking pot (a Vargo Bot).

Not many makers actually give the diameter of their Anything bags but after a lot of research eventually I discovered that Bike Bag Dude make a bag big enough for my pot. I also liked the integrated straps.

Thanks Ron. Looks like the ideal bag for the Anything Cage. I too like the integrated straps.

I'm a fan of my porcelain rocket anything bags. Integrated straps. Solid.

Is Porcelain Rocket still making these? Nothing comes up on their website.

What do people put in these bags.  I can figure out the sleeping bag goes on the handlebar, sleeping pad and clothes in the seat bag, shelter on the bike iteself and food/water/cooking in the backpack.  So what goes on the fork?  I would love to make two, but have no clue what to stick in them.

I use mine for cold weather when my sleep kit takes up more space.
And so I can minimize back weight.

Last trip I used them they held cook kit on one side and extra camp clothes, trail saw, toilet / personal med kit, etc. on the other.

What is the diameter of the bags?
I know this is not the correct forum for this answer but making a stuff sack is probably the absolutely easiest thing to make.  Adding a roll top closure is pretty simple as well.  Need them to be waterproof, add a garbage back inside them.  If the Salsa bags are 32 dollars/bag, you could make a crap ton of bags for 64 dollars of materials.  And get the correct size.
Heck I'll throw it out there, for 40 dollars I will make a pair of bags made out of 8 oz pack cloth or 5 oz oxford.  Funky strap included.

I use these 6l dry bags from NRS (Northwest River Supply). The Salsa bags are 4.5l so that's a good 3l increase overall. They were something like $25-30/ea. I got them for boating but also because they were a slightly better deal than the Salsa ones. They are extremely durable - NRS makes a quality product.

Dimensions for the bag are: 6.5" Dia x 12.5" H

I don't want to be encumbered with a backpack - by using Anything bags I've between able to ditch it.

I use three Anything bags: one under the down tube holds my tent, two on the fork hold my camp kitchen, food and toiletries/meds.

It's probably overkill putting the tent in an Anything bag, but I'd rather not have to pitch it covered in mud.

Sleeping bag and wet weather gear go in the handlebar bag, clothes in the seat bag. Water, sleeping mat, tools and spares go in the frame bag.

I supplement all this with a couple of top tube bags and feed bags.

I'm using Sea to Summit River Dry bags, both the 5l version and 8l. The 5l fit better, but if I ever get in a crunch for space, I can squeek out some more capacity with the 8l version.
