Best disc rim for Specialized Renegade 2Bliss - tire

What is the best rim for Specialized Renegade 1.8" 2Bliss tires?

I tried the previous/ original Stan's Arch wheel and it was an exercise in futility trying to stretch it onto the rim.

What is a good 32 hole fairly light, but strong disc rim. I assume that a 21mm or 23mm internal width is best for the 1.8" tire. I will be using this for a disc gravel/ bikepacking build.

Also, should a look for a UST or TCS rim to work best with the Specialized 2Bliss bead to set up tubeless?

I assume you're talking 29er here, cause Stans rims and Spesh tires are known incompatible on 29" wheels. I've gotten it to work occasionally, but only that. I believe UST rims at least will work. Not sure about TCS.

Personally I'd fit the tire to the rim, not the other way around, so I don't have good advice about what rim to fit to that tire.

A good rule of thumb in 29" is that if the tire is too tight to fit on a Stans rim, then it is an ideal fit on any UST or TCS rim.

I'd look at the WTB Frequency i19 or i23.
