Anyone tried any stuff from them? I see they have Ed Viesturs & Peter Whittaker on board designing & testing, I've been looking at the BC-200 shell for under $200. Maybe Eddie Bauer is going back to their roots with the technical wear like the Everest climbers back in the 70's wore.

I don't have any experience with their products but the First Ascent Downlight Sweater just received a good review from Backpackinglight:

Overall Rating: Recommended

The Downlight Sweater gets it right. It’s an excellent balance of light weight, essential features, warmth, and value. It fits well and will layer over a couple of thick baselayers, a thin jacket, or a vest. Its wind and water resistance are excellent – no water leaked through the seams in my standing water test. It’s not the very lightest jacket among its peers, but it’s an excellent balance that will satisfy many hikers.

I love my FA sweater. It's light, less puffy, and more fill than my NF Nuptse.
