I tried contacting him back in Oct and November.  Never got a response via email or phone.  So, I took my business to Eric at http://www.epicdesignsalaska.com/

I just received my bags from Jeff this week.  They are beautiful.  He doesn't have time for email or forums.  If you leave a message he will call you back.  My impression is that he follows a California  business model that keeps stress from getting the upper hand.  It was a bit of a shock to my New England sensibilities but after I figured out it was just a cultural difference I found working with him quite refreshing.  Hang in there - he will deliver!

I recently received a saddle pack from Jeff, and I can definitely second the comment about beautiful workmanship. It's really amazing. To be honest, I think both Jeff and Eric spend a lot of time away from email and the sweatshop, and we're all just jealous... Having to plan your purchase 3 months ahead of when you need it is all just part of the charm...or something. Smiley

Ordering bags from these guys is like ordering a sculpture from Michelangelo - he can't just pull one off the shelf.  Quality takes time and custom quality takes more time.

Hey drjon,

That's a little different.  He says his build queue is around 3 months, so something's not right.  I got replies from him via email regarding the ordering process, but ultimately went with Eric because I found his web pages/ordering process to be more user-friendly (for me, anyway).
