Who deleted it and why?  That's not right.  As consumers we have the right to let others know of issues.  I didn't chime in on it because I've already stated in the past I had issues with him and didn't want to beat a dead horse. 

I strongly recommend buying from other bikepacking suppliers like Revelate (probably the grand daddy of them all) and other newer brands such as Porcelin Rocket or that Cleveland Mountaneering. 

CDW...buyer beware.  My experience with CDW was not good either.  No return phone calls, no return emails.  This is after I had already bought and recommended to others to buy from him. 

Bikepacking.net mod, that wasn't cool man, deleting a thread like that.

I have no comment on the substance of the thread but the original poster joined this forum just to bash one manufacturer and promote another.  Since the member has no track record here his comments are suspect, although possibly valid, and were deleted as they would be on many other forums.

I deleted it. My reasoning: The user signed up to BP.net and began to rip into someone without posting up anything else. I posted up that he should introduce him/herself first before saying negative comments on a forum. There is not a "no negative first comment" rule on BP, but I think most forums have a general rule against it.

BTW, it seems like you now have the tread you want.....let's see if this user can introduce him/herself and then restate the comments mentioned in the deleted thread.
