Anyone else like to carry a shock pump on trips?  I do, and I've posted my experience here:

http://www.bikepacking.net/reviews/tools-pumps/topeak-pocketshock-shock-pump/

I'm thinking about upgrading to this one:

http://www.bikepacking.net/reviews/tools-pumps/topeak-pocketshock-dxg/

Anyone have experience with it, or know of other lightweight pumps?

I usually end up adding some pressure to both my fork and rear shock before a trip, but I never know exactly how much to add, and I often want to make an adjustment mid-ride.  Plus if something starts losing air it's nice to have a pump along (hasn't happened to me yet, knock on wood).

Thanks.

I was thinking about it. I've debated getting one of the combo tire/shock pumps, but I've not heard good things about them.

I thought you had the Propshock pump that can be used as a replacement strut in place of a dead shock? I thought that sounded cool.

I just bought a wrench-force brand pump works nice, feels durable and the gauge is removable too.

Couldn't tell you the weight though.

I've been waiting 2 years for a good combo suspension/tire pump.  Seems like a good idea to me.  Anyone found a good one yet?

Yep, a combo would be ideal.

My arms don't usually take the shrader fitting...oh you guys have squishy stuff. Just kidding.

I usually took the shock pump that came with my reba if I wanted one along but those new Lysene? ones looked interesting. Can they do both?

I have a Lezyne (I don't know how to spell it either!).  It doesn't work on a shock.  Sweet pump though.  Best on the market IMHO.

I've always carried a shock pump.  Only been bikepacking once, but will still carry the pump.  I've got the one you are/were thinking of upgrading to, I like it.  The schrader fitting Topeak uses is great.  It's a small pump, but it works well.

I needed a new tire pump and saw the combo style but it seamed heavier then two single use pumps combined and looked a little cheesy to boot.

I just found an old Fox shock pump at a  secondhand gear shop and it is, by far, the best shock  pump I've used.  AL, not plastic, just a light and one hell of a lot more durable.  Braided hose, too, rather than  rubber.
Very nice.

Other than dialing in a new suspension component (all three that I've ever owned), I've never carried a shock pump on a ride.
