I just picked up a Niner RLT9 Steel 3 star and love it so far. I paired it with a large sized Revelate frame bag.

I singed down all the Velcro and rubberized straps tight but the crank rubs the bag whenever I have it semi stuffed.

How do you keep the crank from swiping it? Should I just use a medium size bag instead of Large?

Sounds like you are stuffing too much into it, or perhaps the wrong-shaped objects.
If the bag is already bulging with nothing in it, then yes the smaller size may fit better.
Or you could move the Revelate bag on and get a custom bag made (by Bedrock Bags f'instance), that fits the frame correctly.

Yeah it only happens with my square plastic food containers in it. Maybe that's the issue, although the very bottom is a spare tube, multitool, and soft bag first aid kit.

A voile strap wrapped between your seat tube and downtube may help. But I think you need to have a water bottle cage on your down tube to keep the voile strap in place.

cheers!

My broadfork frame bag tapers front to rear. Narrower in rear. Revelate makes awesome stuff but there’s nothing like a custom bag.
