Looking for a tent/shelter recommendation

I'm looking at the Easton mountain kilo 1p tent at 2lbs 1 oz.  I like the weight and pack size.

The Big Agnes Fly Creek UL1 is always worthy of consideration.  Over budget though.

I have a eureka spitfire one. Brand new at around $130. I got mine for $90 in these classified. Around 3 lbs. it is a real tent, not that I am against the ultra light stuff.

Unsure how much you can get one for over the pond, but I am yet to find fault in my Terra Nova Laser Competition 1. It is double skinned, and sleeps two (just) but one in comfort. 2lb all in, with a small pack size when you put the pole elsewhere.

Again, I appreciate all of the responses.  I ended up finding an MSR Carbon Reflex 1 on eBay for a decent price.  It's lightweight and sets up easy (though it does rely on stakes), but I do have to carry ~16" poles.

On the beach, I did have to use long sticks pounded deep into the sand, as the stakes that came with it didn't hold in the wind.  On firm ground at a campsite, though, the stakes and tent held up to some pretty nasty winds off Lake Superior.  Packs up the size of a cantaloupe (except for the poles, of course).

In general, I don't love it, but it kept me dry and carried well for a reasonable cost.
