Crown Light Mount

So I just installed a rigid fork on my 2014 Salsa El Mariachi and mounted the supernova light I had on my bars to the crown on the fork. I noticed that since the fork is angled my light is wearing the revelate sweetroll I'm running on my bars as a hat(picture below). My easiest and immediate option is to flip the light mount upside down so I can angle it away from the bag but I worry that since the little stopper on the mount would be useless from keeping the light from dipping dangerously close to the tire, should I even consider it an option? So if I just keep the set up as is, is there any potential for trouble down the line? Any and all advice is appreciated.

I am not that familiar with  Supernova lights but I have heard reports of water ingress with upside down Busch & Muller lights so maybe something to be aware of.  SJS Cycles has a lot of mounts listed on their website.  Maybe worth a look to see if you can get some ideas on an alternative way mounting.

Just flip the mountthan you van angle the Mount down. The licht van betilted up tot het the right angle for a forward beam. Personally I favor a licht mounted on my handlebar over a crown mounted licht. The beam is more effectief spread on the path.
