do the stated run times match up, weatherproofness ?? etc. I would be using it bar-mounted only. I like the extra light available over a LD 22...

I have one and use it for the AZT300 and he dixie 200 this year.  I get about 6 hrs burn time on medium with lithium batteries.  Haven't had it out in the weather yet so can't talk about weather proof but the battery case seems to seal up pretty good bases on what a pain in the ass it is to close

Darn good light for the money. I have one that I use for commuting. It lasts a little over four hours on old (like eight years) Nimh rechargables, I'm sure it would last MUCH longer if my batteries were new. It's been in some heavy rain with no problems. It's a little more heavy and bulky than my Sigma and not as bright but the price and choice of available batteries make it a no brainer.
