What are people happy with in terms of padded shorts (not bibs)?
I’m in the market to replace a pair of Pearl Izumi padded liner shorts. Wondering what else I should be looking at. Club Ride? Kitsbow? Patagucci?
I ride bibs on the road and for short trips into the woods but for longer trips and or commuting, bibs can be a bit challenging when it’s toilet time. I’ve tried going unpadded but anything over 90 mins and I start to get uncomfortable.
Thanks

I get it. dropping trow with bibs sucks especially if its cold and rainy
I'm really liking the Patigonia nether undershorts. The chamois is thinner and denser than most shorts I've seen if that makes sense. I've also had some luck with some cheapo Pearl Isumi triathlon shorts that have a very minimal chamois. I prefer a minimal but not non existent chamois so take my opinion knowing that.

I'm using the Patagonia shorts as well, they're relatively expensive, but man, the investment is worth it!

I am really liking my SQLab One10 liner shorts. I have not ridden in them on a multi-day trip yet, but wore them for the Drift100 earlier this month. 25.5 hours total time (23.5h pedaling) and no chafing or saddle sores. They have got little holes all over which are great for venting, but you will definitely need to wear something over them.
