I have this Specialized Rockhopper http://www.bikepacking.net/forum/index.php?topic=3171.msg62373#msg62373, which is setup to accept disk brakes. I recently switched wheels to some DT wheels with an adapter I have never before that allows one to mount the rotor without rotor mounts. The front disk was a shimano hydraulic that went flawlessly, but the rear was a Hayes Sole and I could not get the caliper to mount on the frame far enough to the outside of the frame to allow me to run the rotor through without it hitting the pads. I switched to a mechanical set of BB7's with the same rotor on a different wheel and got the same result. A friend and I looked and the rotor and it appears to be straight and true. Has anyone had similar difficulties with this type of a mount? I hope the picture is detailed enough the show the mount.
Thanks,
Asa
