Totally random question but it is for a future trip so I thought I'd ask. I've never eaten one and here great things. What I want to know is how well they'll keep and for how long. The trip will see daytime highs in the upper 60's. Just wondering ya'lls thoughts. I read the review of them on this site.

I'd say they last at least 24 hours, maybe a bit more at those temps. We've carried them around for about that in temps of 90's.
YMMV with them -- and we also get the non-frozen, paper wrapped ones.

Nice. Looks like I know what I'm eating my first night out! I only wish they'd last 2 days! I can see it now, 4 or 5 burrito's in my Wingnut. Crap, now I'm hungry.

We don't cook the paper wrapped ones. The frozen ones would probably need to be cooked (nuked).

I ate several DM Burritos out there. Never heated them. Just put them in my camelbak and then the heat of my body and the sun baking my pack made them yummo. I would chow food at a store and put burritos in the pack for later meals. Also liked the frozen cheeseburgers after a couple hours in my pack. They were good to woof down while climbing into my bivy at night. Would be nice to get them up to that "safe temp" before eating but there are not many microwaves out there and alot of times you just have to eat what ever you have. You have to have something other than candy bars and Slim Jims. HaHa. I had one sick day out there in NM where I was running for bushes all day (there were NO bushes!!) but I think it was crap diner food in Grants. Never really a problem with the microwave food and I actually ate stuff that was in my pack for a couple days. Mmmm good.
