It might help if you clarify why you are asking this. For example, if you're a design student looking for good ideas to replicate, then that would elicit a different response than if you're an experienced rider looking for clever ways to improve your personal kit.

Most of the stuff that I take is stuff that I can't reasonably finish a ride without--therefore it's all stuff that "I can't live without." But I do have favorite things, like my hydration pack and favorite jersey, if you're speaking more figuratively.

At any rate, I'd love to try to answer your question if I have a better idea of the types of answers you're looking for!
