Exposure Revo and Remote Switch Question

I'm considering an Exposure Revo light (to be used in conjunction with a Sinewave Revolution).  I'm a bit new to the dynamo thing, so forgive the questions.

One of the drawbacks of the Revo is the lack of an on/off switch.   I'd rather not just unplug it and leave the exposed plug and terminal.  I see the Revo has the Smart Port, so does that mean you can add an Exposure Remote Switch and that would be effective?  More importantly, if it did turn it off, would it allow then fully power to the Sinewave?

You need to setup a 3 way SPDT switch.
If would function charge (or sinewave) on, all off, light on.
I have all the parts, and am going to 3d print a housing for it... but haven't gotten around to it.

The black wire brings power from the hub and carries it to the light or the Sinewave or USBWerk.
The red wire completes the circuit, and can be joined into 1 wire before it travels to the hub.

Basically it looks like this:

I don't know how the SmartPort works on a dyno... I've been unplugging mine on the MUP or single track, but generally run it all the time for road / dirt road. It will power the USBwerk with the light on... but the light can get pretty dim.

I guess I didn't word the question well. 

If I run a Revo and Sinewave in parallel will the Revo reach full power when the Sinewave doesn't have a load on it (nothing plugged in)?   

If I use an Exposure switch on the Revo (if that works) will that allow full power to the Sinewave  when the switch is off (as it does when you unplug it)?

I thought about that too, but wondering if this simplifies wiring and allows for flexibility to run just the Revo or just the Sinewave alone.

Yes, if you run the sinewave and revo and unplug the revo the sinewave will run at full power. Same goes for if you don't have anything charging the sinewave will only draw a tiny sip of power - nothing that would affect the light, IIRC from when I asked the folks who make the sinewave this very question.

Then I think the easiest solution may be to make a few different power connectors and use the one I need for the specific application. 

I found some DC Plugs that fit the Revo at Radio Shack (PN: 274-1532).

I'll fab up one with a switch as you suggested with the Sinewave, one with a switch and no Sinewave and keep the one that came with the Revo intact.

I contacted Exposure, and they told me that their Remote Switch does not work with the Revo.   

So a switch in the power input line, as bmike-vt suggested, is the only option.
