I have a Selle An-Atomica and love it. I saw somewhere that Selle An-Atomica site was selling the brown (only) for $99.98 while they last, which is half off. Two of my buddies just ordered them as well. Can't beat that price.

That's mighty tempting but a brown riveted retro looking saddle would look a bit odd on an all silver and black SC Blur XC...  hmmmm...   I could pull it off it were black, but that price tag (which at half off is still on the spendy side) might be enough to make me just take the punishment from the fashion police.

How about changing the thread title to "Favorite affordable saddle?"

I saw one of my buddy's saddle over the weekend and it doesn't look bad at all. Better than I thought, but what's that old saying? "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"

I stumbled across the MegaSoft Sport SL saddle since my friend was using it. So far I love it! No pressure points at all, a bargain, and really light too. Just don't start trying to find a website or much more information than you see on Amazon. Hawley sells them, if that proves any bit of quality to you.

Brooks B-17.  Tour Divide, minimal troubles.  I keep it on my go-fast trail bikes too.

Having read this review a number of years ago:

http://www.bikefix.net/2008/05/bikefix-exclusive-review-selle-italia.html

...I got hold of an OEM version from Ribble Cycles here in the UK. No complaints, and I did a couple of 100km mixed on-off road rides on it last year. The 'Trans Am' version seems to have been discontinued now, but search for Selle Italia XO and you'll find its replacement.
