Kind of figured it was being used by folks here. Just wanted to see what people thought. Not having to remove the cassette to replace a spoke on that side is a huge plus. Apparently Fiber Flex is popular, since everyone seems to be out of stock now

They do come in handy. Lucked out when I was leaving Washington State, a bike store that I used to go to was going out of business and I was helping them get rid of stuff when we ran across three boxes of them. We joked about making an entire wheel out them. You should get a few and throw them in the seat bag.

Update 6/30/09
Quality Bicycle Products (QBP) now has the Fiber-
fix
spokes back in stock. QBP is a wholesale only supplier, so check with your friendly local bike shop about getting the spokes.
