Looking to start a list of reasons why people chose the company / product they did for their frame bag purchase? Was a single awesome feature, shipping time, what?

Becker Sewing (beckergear.com) in Fairbanks! Mostly because I was up there for the summer and wanted to buy local. Also, Tupper Becker let me come by his little shop with my bike to double check the pattern for my frame. The bag I wanted was a super simple one zipper affair, so he whipped one up in a few days. He even snuck mine in before a multi week big order he was about to start. Super cool experience. Bomber bag.

My reasons aren't very helpful. Went with Oveja Negra for multicam fabric and the cool name

Mine are the one brand that the local shop carried. Unless I'm shopping online, how often do shops carry more than one brand? I did want to buy some Carousel Design Works bags just because I went to high school with that dude, but they seem hard to find.

I ended up making my own. If I were to buy, it would be from someone that has 2 kegs in their garage.

I've made my own for the past number of years but if I were to buy a kit I would undoubtedly go for Porcelain Rocket. Highest quality and attention to detail out of any bag I've seen in person. Full custom so you can get options if you need them. And their kits look the best by a long shot imo. Scott is the man.

+1 for Scott at PR. Very easy to work with, totally on the details and communication.
Revelate stuff is great; sadly, no more custom.

I got my handlebar harness and frame bag from Greg Wheelwright at Bolder Bikepacking. These were two separate orders. The harness I just wanted to support a small producer. For the frame bag, I wanted to have the straps located in specific areas to accommodate my top tube bags. Because I had a positive experience with Greg, I went with him again. I have no regrets!
While I like to promote the work of small producers, one thing I appreciate about Greg's work is no labels. But I am kind of an anti-commercialist, so...

I just bought a custom frame, bar, and seat bag from Joe at Jpaks. Awesome guy, great quality, small producer, 15 minutes from my house.

I needed custom bags for my Sawyer because of the klunker style frame. I went with Rogue Panda because they are made in AZ and he was having a sale. VERY happy with my purchase!

Rogue Panda Designs. Local, fast turn around, good prices for custom work and Nick is really easy to work with.

Porcelain Rocket bags on my bikes. Scott is a great guy who loves bikepacking. He has the design and fabrication skills to make top notch gear.
