Why does no one seem to use folding bikes for bikepacking? It seems much better for flying and jumping on and off trains. Something with full size wheels like the montague is what I mean.

People do use them but they don't post here ; ). Pilots, some packrafters, etc.

I recall another thread about folding bike's but can't find it.
The Montague looks ok but not great, can't see one replacing a high end mtb.
