Hi there!
Just wanted to introduce myself to the community.
I'm Wayne Meador, the founder of A World 4 Change. An organization dedicated to increasing the sustainability of the planet.
I'm gearing up to ride from Alabama to San Francisco and filming it.
Will be documenting the trek via my YouTube channel with no less than 2 episodes/week highlighting what I'm going through, as well as showcasing how people in the heartland of NA are striving to be more sustainable in their daily lives and businesses. I'll be making scheduled stops to film and interview sustainable businesses, sustainable governments/entities, sustainable homesteads, sustainable communities, etc... These videos will be produced from the road, and strategically released in addition to the 2 episodes/week.
I'll be broadcasting a weekly show using a custom solar power unit, and cell phone data service. We'll be showcasing how a business can be run sustainable while enjoying adventure. Not to mention, we're going to be doing it solely through the use of renewable energy!
Will be distributing video, still photo, and additional content via a daily email, blog, social media posts, and clearly....YouTube.
At the end of the trek, we're having a Sustainable weekend event in San Francisco...as well as scheduled waypoints along the way.
I'd started out on the Trek on the first of the month this month, and on the second day....had an accident. So, I'm recuperating and planning my weight distribution a little bit better this time and going to be leaving again as soon as I heal up.
Would love to have any support and advice you all can give. I'm still new to this, but learning quickly.
Here's the website I've set up to track the trek and what's going on.
