Warm weather sleeping bags

I'm looking for a warm weather bag to replace the surplus poncho/poncho liner combination that has served me well. I need a bag, down or synthetic, that is light, compact, and comfortable down to 40 degrees f. My budget is $150. Any recommendations? Has anyone used the lightweight LaFuma's, REI Sub Kilo, or SnugPak Merlin?

I like my mont bell, the 'hugger' bags are great for side sleepers like me
here is a link to their 1 lb, 40 deg, $170 web special

I'm about to try my Lafuma Warm n Light 600 40 deg bag in the Angeles mountains. It's 42 deg there right now.
I picked it up for 70 bucks or so ith shipping from ww.steapandcheep.com
I'll let you know if it was warm enough. Planning on going this Thursday night.
I'll be wearing a long sleeve Icebreaker underwear shirt and maybe a fleece if I have to. I' probably will use leg warmers, and DeFeet Blaze Wool socks too.
I really want a Big Agnes summer bag though, so that's what i would rec. It works really well with the pad sleeve built in.

I've found use Western Highlites for under $150. Keep an eye on backpackinglight.com
