Made in china off brand ebay sleeping bags??

Anyone have experience with these made in china down bags on ebay?

Not directly, but it is possible they are made at the same place as the big name brands, most of which are in China also. If they can answer these questions, you should be fine:

Can you provide a test report for the down showing fill power, species, cleanliness, etc? (If it is a cheap bag they are probably using a China sourced down with a FP around 500, avoid anything less than 600 fp)
What type of baffle construction?
What is the shell material? (make sure it is down proof or else you will look like a duck)
What is the baffle material? (Some cheap or knock off bags have used cotton baffles which are heavy and absorb moisture over extended use).
What is the zipper brand? (YKK is the best but talon and tyt are also passable brands).

If they can't answer these questions you might be better off buying a chinese made bag from a US Brand that can answer the questions.

Bike shorts, shoes and sleeping bags are the three things they I will not skimp on.  There are probably more, but those are the ones that come to mind that can shut you down fast.
