I have loaded a pair of the WalMart Bell No-Mor Flats on my tester/trainer rig and have used them now for about 2 months, 3 one hour rides per week.... true they do not ride 'crisply;' however, they work and I need not take 2 tubes and a pump. Has anyone run them for long distances and multi-day trips on the back side of nowhere?

How much do those things weigh?
So far, I'm happy running UST rims tubeless with Stans sealant and correct tire pressure.

FD - Worthy consideration.. they are heavier - I do not know how much.... I just keep forgetting that fact cause I am lighter due to no extra tubes, I would not be packing two pumps (even the best quality pump can fail out there)... and I do not have to be concerned about what I am bounding over top of. Still your point remains important to me due to wheel weight being different, with regard to handling, than pack weight.

Besides weight, what about ride quality? OK for dirt roads I would imagine, but what about mountain biking? (Cornering, traction uphill, etc?)
On my most recent trip we got into some serious goatheads -- eventually I got my Stans filled rear wheel to fill, but it took a little coaxing and added sealant. The idea of no air does have some appeal, especially for some of the thorn infested riding I do.

Altho you need not carry extra tubes or a pump with the non-pne tube you will carry more agravation. Different road conditions work better with changes in air pressure, something not possible with that type of tube. Really smooth roads ride better with higher pressure. Rough roads better with lower pressure. Gravel or dirt needs lower pressure still. I've rode 15 years, usually over 8,000 per year. All kinds of roads, including singletrack Mnt bike routes. I use triple thick, SLIME filled tubes. The tubes have outlasted 4 back tires and 2 front tires. I don't usually carry tubes, just a small pump. Mine weighs 10 to 12 ozs.

I'd be more concerned about tweaking a rim with the extra weight of those things! I ride in some goathead areas & use Tuffy liners, Slime tubes, still get flats but usually get them to seal, if not I carry 1-2 extra tubes, patch kit & Topeak Mt Morph pump as my insurance.

Rolling resistance would be huge! Not sure about how rigid they'd be when cornering either. As for weight, they'd definitely weigh more than a small pump and some inner tubes and wheels are where you want to save weight. If you do try them it'd be interesting to hear how you got on

Yep...will post if I ever have the nerve to do any multi-day expeditions with them. Meanwhile, still have them on my utility/trainer rig..... they continue to operate 'without incident,' meaning no known time that they tried to come off (Alert: I am not riding aggresively). My hesitation is that a fully loaded bike is different than just running light on a trainer.....and the heavier weight wheels work fine for fitness training. Only added observation after 3 years since the first posting of this inquiry - They wear out knobbies faster (guessing a 25% faster rate).

Guys that race motorcycles in the desert or in the Paris-Dakar use something similar to this. http://www.tireballs.com/about.php. I seem to remember another company making smaller ones, but I can't find it. I would consider something like this if they made it for bicycles. Edit- the Dakar guys run Bib-Mousse. The Tire Balls may be the smaller one I was thinking about.
