Looking for a bike computer that I can change the traveled distance on the fly, for following cue sheets. My main navigation is GPS but I'd like a back up as piece of mind. Anybody have any suggestions?

Been a long time since I've used one but I always used the cateye enduro. Basic but does everything I ever needed.

Agreed about the Cateye. I have an Enduro 8 on my road bike and it tracks all the basics, and it's interface is pretty intuitive.

Sigma. The "Trip Up" or "Trip Segment" feature is the best I have found for this use. Easy to reset on the fly as each new point is reached.

I just bought a Garmin Edge Touring computer for my ECR. Don't need the Plus features, and so far, so good with this simple GPS device.

I use iPhone 4 s with Lifeproof case works for me with motion x app..

The last few years I spending a lot of time Bikepacking from over night trips to long distance tours across Asia Forcusing mainly on the Ho Chi Minh Trail

I bought a VDO because of the trip function with reverse countdown but it's so unintuitive that I don't think I will ever get used to using it. I think I'll have to get something simpler to use. When I am tired I want it as simple as possible.

I just go a Cateye Padrone and it is awesome. Big numbers, on the fly reset and best of all its idiot proof. For me.
