I have a few neck issues and plan to go as light as possible on the back,  I was wondering if I should get the bigger or smaller of this pack?   I found them on sale for $80.    Just thought I'd see if I could get some much needed advice.  Thanks

Ideally you should try them both on. Good luck.

I think he means should he get a Talon 11 or 22.

Check the stats:

Talon 11:  M/L     700     11     1/7     0.65
Talon 22:  M/L     1300     22     1/11     0.77

              (size)      (capacity)          (weight)

IMO, go for the 22.  It has a bunch more capacity for only a tad more weight.  It does fit "larger" though, obviously, so could be an issue.  The nice thing about the 22 is the adjustable torso length, so you can really get it to ride low if you want.  The 11 doesn't have that, and it might be just what you need.

Hard to say.  Summit Hut should have both versions for you to try on.

All right. I see now. I was thinking size instead of model.

There are four different Talon models, but the 22 and 11 are the two smallest. Most would probably only consider those for cycling.

Many friends here have purchased Talons and not realized there were two sizes. Usually they bought the M/L and should have got the S/M.
