Hi all, long time lurker first time poster.
For those of us with dynamo hubs and  a way to keep smart phone charged on it, I am wondering what different route/mapping apps people like to use?
I have Gaia(pay version) and maps.me(free version) and enjoy different aspects of each, just wondering what else is out there and being used.

I'll be touring the divide using those apps this summer and just downloaded routes that other users had created, anyone know how close to current "official" routes those might be?

So far it has been nice having a gps/camera/music/basic mileage computer rolled into one and constantly charged up, curious about other folks experience.
Apologies if these questions have been addressed elsewhere, feel free to redirect. Thanks.

On Android, I use Locus Pro which works quite well. I forget what the pay for pro version gets you, but I felt it was worth it. I also like that I can edit gpx tracks with it.

I recommend doing the Wamsutter section, the northern and southern ends are quite nice and it is not technical.

When I rode the GDMBR last summer, I used and Android phone with the same two apps. Maps.me was my primary app and covered the whole route with the exception of part of the Wamsutter section. I also had photos of the Adventure Cycling GDMBR maps on my phone for reference as well. I wrote a post on my website after the trip about smartphone navigation, if you want to read more. https://wanderingbybicycle.com/1477-2/
