I have a Bruce Gordon touring bike that fits 29x2.0 tires, but the otherwise delightful BG rack that's on it does not.  I'm looking for a rear rack that will fit full 29er tires and be strong and tough enough to take a full load with me off-road.  Any suggestions?

My girlfriend has a Tortec Ultralight on her Kona Dr Dew that has 700c wheels, disk brakes and mudguards so it should fit a 29er fine. It's 400g, carries 30kg and costs about £25 in the UK. Compare it to my Tubus Carry which weights 50g less and costs £120 more and it's definitely the rack I would buy if (or more likely, when) I replace mine.
I'm guessing as it's a Bruce Gordon it'll have eyelets, if it hasn't them Old Man Mountain might be the way to go although they're heavier more expensive.

Of course there is always Old Man Mountain racks too. pretty pricy, but bombproof and tested off road touring many times over by many people.
