Anyone been successful at adding a Salsa (or other) QR fork to a Fatboy to take advantage of mount points for things like an Anything Cage?

Nope, but I am looking into using those SKS adapters. How are they holding up for you? I'm looking into using them to hold some lightweight but bulky stuff in Manything Cages on the carbon fork of my skinny tired bike.

Untested outside. Initial thoughts are they might work. I don't want to have to deal with shifting loads once I'm underway. Hence the fork advice. my mess kit fits perfectly in the anything bag. For now it's better under the down tube. I think k the SKS adapters will work better on a thicker fork like a shock.
