Anyone know of a company making a bicycle oriented scrolling cue sheet holder? I'm thinking of making one. If anyone has one or has made one can you post pictures?

i've played with this idea off and on for brevets...
after a few 3d models and sketches never came up with a workable, easy solution...

went back to an aloksak and a home brew cue sheet holder bent out of a fender strut:

i've always wanted to try this one, or make a smaller one:

but trick is balancing weight / cost / bulk / waterproofness / complexity to use, change when tired / cold / etc. - as well as being able to add notes or minor changes to the route...

The scrolling road book was pioneered by Jenks, Stirling Moss's co-driver in their victorious 1955 Mille Miglia. Some history here;-

If you want waterproof, I believe Pelican sells little dry boxes with clear windows that you could drill and modify pretty easily. If you want to go super cheap and simple, I would go with an altoids tin. Cut a window and glue or rivet a plastic window. Seems like a fun project, post pictures if you make one!

We give away desk calenders which use the same principal, I'm afraid I can't find a decent picture on the internet but they seem fairly common, I searched for "scrolling calendar" with limited success. Unfortunately we've stopped giving them away or I'd send you one. You can have mine next year...
Obviously you'd need to waterproof it somehow and use the right weight of paper but I reckon it would work pretty well.
