That is a cool little lip protector on your cup.  I have the same cup but I haven't seen one of those.  Where did you get it?

I have a nice little stove from Snowpeak but it normally stays home and I just cook with the fire if there are no bans. I have used Esbit tablets before and really like them. I also just find some rocks that work to put the cup on. I carry a small piece of flashing that I can use for a windscreen if needed.

Snowpeak makes these for their mugs.

I just picked up an MSR pocket rocket but not completely enthused about carrying a gas canister at all times so am looking at one of these when they go into production as this will fill the bill for me   www.theboilerwerks.com
