Where do you carry/ mount your Spot Tracker?

I originally carried my Spot in the top pocket of my hydration pack. But it didn't transmit my tracking location that well in thickly-treed areas since it was often pointed sideways, so I stared carrying it in a case on my handlebars. Then I stupidly fell off a ledge, and my bike stayed at the top. I only broke my nose, so no Spot activation was necessary--but it did make me think that having the Spot on my body was a good idea.

Now I carry it on the top of the shoulder-strap of my pack, pointing skyward. I'm still looking for the perfect case. Spot makes one, but it only comes in camo, and I'm not really a camo kind of guy.

when i made my seat bag, i put a pocket on top just for the spot.

Ditto. Though this isn't without problems either. If I'm not sitting up you don't get a tracking point it seems. I'm trying to work my way gear was into not needing a pack. I'll need to figure out what to do with it then Smiley
