. I would like to start out on about a week long trip over the summer. I am currently riding a 2015 Giant Revel 3. I am aware that this is no where near the kind of bike I need. I usually just run single tracks with it on the weekends but I am looking to invest in a more quality bike that will last on longer trips. Any Suggestions?

What kind of trip are you looking to do? While it's not the ideal bike for a trip, I don't see why your bike couldn't work for some types of trips.

It would be a shorter trip through some easier trails in NE Georgia.
