Minimum tire width on a 30mm rim?

I?ve got a Fargo that I?d like to do some road touring + light dirt and gravel roads. The wheels on it are 30mm inner carbon tubeless ready rims. Right now I?m running 2? Shwalbe G-one speeds that are ok for dirt, but don?t roll well on pavement. I?m looking for a more road-ready, narrow tire. The WTB site says I can go down to 42mm tires and was thinking of something like a 42mm Panaracer Gravel King.

The manufacturer might be a little conservative for cya reasons, but i would follow that and go for that tire you mentioned.
