Anyone use one? I just got an inexpensive Sette Ryde SP-367A for my rigid 29er. It utilizes an elastomer, has a preload adjuster on the bottom and a lockup (via 3mm hex key) on the side. So far so good. I weigh 150 lbs. and feel very little sag. I have it setup somewhat firm and it dampens the ride well.

I added a Cane Creek Thudbuster LT to my ancient hard tail Cannondale. Seems to work well. No lockout, which would be nice...

I never owned a suspension seat post, let alone try one. I wasn't comfortable dropping $100+ on a Thud buster or one from the U.S.E. line. So far I'm happy with the Sette. I'll see how it holds up.

I us a thudbuster LT and love it - you soon forget it's there, don't really think it needs a lockout - just make sure you use the correct elastomers for your weight, makes a huge difference thumbsup

Yeah, the Thudbuster probably doesn't need a lockout. But it just feels so good to lock out the front end while grinding up long hills. I wish that I could also lock out the Thudbuster. If nothing else, the psychological boost would help!
