Anyone have one of these yet?

http://www.revelatedesigns.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=store.catalog&CategoryID=1&ProductID=5

How do you like it?  What frame have you used it on, and how did it fit?  What all do you use it for?

I ordered one yesterday, and it's on its way to me.  Will post pics whenever I get it.

I didn't realize he started having stock models, a good idea to speed up production. Seems like in the past frame bags were all custom with a long wait time like everything else.

I don't have one of these exact models but I do have a home made frame bag and I can say it is very handy for both touring and just everyday riding. I have used it to carry tubes, pump and tools for short easy rides with no pack, food for one day and multi-day trips and when I need to carry a lot of it water.

Yeah...for that price, I am making my own.  I bought a used sewing machine ($25),
thread ($15), and a bunch of material ($40) so I am going to make a bunch of bags.

Still have to get velcro and some zippers...

I use one of the Jandd frame bags currently but will get a tangle bag from Eric for my Fargo build as I don't yet need a large capacity frame bag. Very handy for extra stuff, things that have made there way into mine, tubes, pump, food/snacks, camera, lights, .38 special revolver, the list goes on. The Jandd isn't as big but still handy, never tried carrying extra water bottles or bladder in it, I think the tangle bag is set up for a bladder if I remember right.

I just got mine in the mail today.  I put it on my custom built Siren 55 SL. It fits really well, looks like it will also fit on my road bike,  excellent quality.   I'll post reports on my blog soon.

I've got one on the way.  Hopefully will fit my L Niner Air9!! but a bit worried due to the shape and size of the tubing.  the Road one might actually be a better fit but we'll see...

Cheers

This is my first post!  I love this forum!

I purchased one of Eric's Tangle frame bags in June.  I ordered the Touring version for my XXL Quiring 29er.  I have a huge headtube at 6 inches, so my frame space was begging to be used.  I decided to go with the mass produced frame bag from Eric to see if I liked frame bags.  Plus, I wanted to see if I could dump the hydration pack for my adventures.

The underside of my top tube is around 23 inches, so going in I knew the Tangle Touring bag would be a bit short.  I wanted space to store food, tools, maps and other odds and ends.  The space from the back of the bag to the seat tube was used up with 29er tubes strapped to the seat tube.  The tubes also served as a securing point for the back of the bag.

I went for a 4 day dirt road/rail trail trip from my house in northern Michigan to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.  I was very happy with the Tangle.  It worked well and met my expectations.

Main compartment set up (Drive side of bike):
-Food: 2 slices of Sara Lee Nuts About Fudge Pie, 6 packets of Pop Tarts, 3 baggies of trail mix, 1 baggie of gummy worms, 8 scoops of Hammer Perpetuem, and E-caps. (Big meals at local establishments)
-Tools: CB Multi19, tire lever, speed patches, small amount of lube, small tootbrush with rag, power link, chain pieces, small dia nylon rope for bear bag, derialleur cables
-Toiletries: travel size toothpaste/brush and deoderant, small bottle of meds
-Misc: Princeton Tec light, knife, 123 batteries for helmet light, CB Power pump

Small compartment set up (Non drive side of bike):
-Assortment of maps
-Wet Ones
-ID with credit card and cash
-MP3 Player

Here are some photos of my set up showing the Tangle bag:

Thanks for reading!
