Tooth powder?

Anyone use it? Seems like it would be lighter, more compact and less likely to freeze.

I used it in the service and for backpacking trips many years ago and found it worked great. Keep it in a watertight container so it won't get wet and freeze. The only reason I stopped using it was because I ran out and couldn't find any in the local stores.

I've used it camping for years, getting harder to find where I live so a lot of times I just use baking soda, not much different.

There's plenty of it to be found on Amazon. I found some recipes online and made up a batch today. I'm going to use it for a week to see how it feels.
3 tsp baking soda
1 tsp sea salt
sprinkle of powdered ginger, cinnamon and clove
How do/did you guys normally get it on the toothbrush? I've got it in a small tupperware container and tried pouring a small amount onto the top of the lid, wetting the brush, then kind of scooping it up with the brush. It sorta worked, but there's gotta be an easier way.

I used it before Al Gore invented the internet so Amazon wasn't an option.
I carried it in a nip bottle, vodka, like they sell on the airplanes. Wet your toothbrush, sprinkle some on, brush. A little will last a long time.
