New to bikepacking and going on my first overnight in October and I have a small sleeping bag and a bivvy and my camelbak HAWG, the sleeping bag and bivvy I am going to mount on the bike and I was thinking of a larger type of bag to mount on the top tube to put in food for the ride and other supplies.  I am riding a FS so I really don't have room for traditional frame bag.  I have seen some of the top tube bags I think one was the Revalate tangle that looked great if I could just flip it over to the top of the top tube.  Any ideas from you guys?

Thanks

I don't think that anyone sells the specific bag that you're looking for, since stand-over clearance would be an issue for most riders--unless you have really long legs or a small bike. Revelate does sell a nice Gas Tank and Jerry Can, which can add some decent capacity. For what it's worth, I also ride a FS bike (Cannondale RZ), and I had a custom frame bag made by Phantom which carries a surprising amount of stuff. I generally put heavy things like tools and food in it, and then put my sleeping kit in a handlebag bag (Revelate sling with a dry bag, but their new all-on-one "sweet roll" looks great).

gas tank and jerry can and a tangle.
the tangle upside down would dump out your stuff, and i think it would want to roll over.

I think Revelate makes a bigger gastank, aimed at winter riding that might help.
