I haven't road a bicycle since my childhood but ever since hearing about bike touring I started reading blogs/forums and watching as many youtube videos as possible. Trying to learn and soak up as much info as possible. I'm wanting to build a surly ogre and take touring across the globe, avoiding as many paved roads as possible. Starting here in Indianapolis and riding to Alaska and start my Pan-American Highway traverse to begin my adventure. So I'm hoping within the next week or so I'll go out to my LBS and purchase one. But quick question to those who are in the more developing part of the world, how easy would you say it is to get replacement parts for a 29+ tire/rim/tube? Its hard trying to find a current up to date answer to that question.
