First off, thanks to bikepacker.net and it's members for contributing to a great forum and informational site.

I will be taking off for my first tour in August.  Originally I was going to bike from Yellowstone to Glacier via the Continental Divide Route.  After long consideration I would rather go for something with more singletrack.

My criteria are basically this:
1-2 week tour
A good amount of singletrack
Milder temps (<90)
Something outside of the Rocky Mtns. but within the West

Also I was so jacked up I bought a single-wheel trailer ( a BOB knockoff TWBents). If the trailer can be utilized that would be great as well.

I was leaning toward the Orgeon three rivers trail. Its a 7-10 tour from what I understand.

ANY input is appreciated - I just want to get out for a bit!

I'd highly recommend the Oregon rivers tour.  It's one of few singletrack routes I've done that might be reasonable with a trailer.  In any case, it's a good one for a first bikepack.  You should check snow levels, but you may be able to add more higher elevation trail to the route.
