Hi folks, first post here.  Sitting around for a few months with a shattered ankle and found this site.  Lovin' it.  Y'all are game.   thumbsup  I am making a few pieces of gear for my next round of desert trips.  I would like to assemble some data on bag weights.  I would particularly like to know what some of the big seat bags weigh, and their respective volumes.  Frame and bar bags too.  Anybody got a scale out there that wouldn't mind throwing out some numbers?  Maybe a pic to go with?  Any help is much appreciated.  Ride on.  -Dan

Front carrier = 7 oz
  removable pocket 3.5
Gas tank = 3.5 oz
Medium Framebag = 10oz
Small/Medium Saddlebag -4.5-7.5litre- 9oz
Medium/Large Saddlebag -5-10 litre- 11oz

All of the weights are for gear made mainly from X-Pac vx-42 except the s/m saddlebag which is mostly vx-21.

Gas Tank: 2.5 oz
Seat post bag (not show above, but basically an inversed gas tank) : 2.1 oz
Handlebar sling: 8 oz
