I have seen the Osprey Manta 30 and probably will go with that pack, but wanted to see if anyone has suggestions.  I prefer to have a pack with a similar hard frame stay to keep the pack off my back.  Obviously, I need a fairly good-sized option because no room for a bike frame pack.  Any advice is appreciated.  Thanks!

I've started using the camelbak Cloudwalker. It's 20 ltrs and little under 2 pound I've fit quite a bit of stuff in it so far on two seperate bike trips. try one on (weighted of course) for an hour as you hang out in your local out doors eqipt. store.

Well, they're not pretty, but, if you have a screwy frame, just make some frame bags like I did.
