Stan's rims and cantilever breaks?

Has anybody used rim breaks with Stan's rims?
I have a pair of Stan's Crest rims sitting around collecting dust.

Should I use them on an old bicycle with cantilever brakes?
I expect someone already tried it, how did it work out?

I haven't personally, but a local buddy of mine does. He's a new frame builder, and trust me...one helluva rider. One of the fastest dudes in AZ. He said the folks at Stans said it was no big thang to ride with rim brakes on his Stan's rims and he's about 6 months in. Seems to be working just fine.
